September 2017 cash rate remains at historic low 1.50 per cent

The Reserve Bank has kept the official cash rate at its historic low of 1.5 per cent for the 13th consecutive month. The decision was once again widely anticipated. Wages growth remains at near-record low levels with annual growth matching prices growth and constraining consumption.
